How Size Reads in a Room
- Above a sofa
- Two-thirds of sofa width — often 30x40 or larger
- Above a bed
- Centered, roughly headboard width — 24x36 to 40x60
- Above a console table
- 24x30 to 30x40, hung 6–8 inches above the surface
- Above a desk
- 18x24 to 24x36 for a balanced focal point
- Office or reception wall
- 40x60 or a curated grouping of smaller works
